Always wanted to know how to make used pokemon plushies look like new again? then read here how to do it and enjoy your plushies longer!
Unfortunately I don't have a Pokemon Plush as an example, but I do have another plush that has been used a lot. As an example I use a Spike plush from my lttile pony. This plushl is from my son, and I couldn't find a better example than this one! He has this one over 10 years, and the stains are still there. See photos:

What do you need?

You need Dasty stain remover, you can buy it at Wibra in the netherlands and belgium. (otherwise look for some good stain remover for fabrics in some stores that sell household stuff and cleaning wares).
This is specially intended for clothing and fabrics. And will not damage your stuffed animal.
Also 3 large microfiber cloths.
1 for cleaning and 2 for drying as much as possible.
And a copper/messing brush. Aliexpress has them and then you have 6 of them right away. link
you use this to make the fabric soft again and your (pokemon)plush almost as good as new.

What to do

For just removing stains, just spray the stains with Dasty stain remover. But for this example to also make the fabric nice again, I did the entire plush.

Stubborn stains will have to soak in and perhaps to loosen it, you can put your finger in the cloth and then scrape it out with the cloth around your finger. This way the dirt is immediately absorbed and not first spread when you scrape it off without a cloth.
If you have light surface stains then you can just rub with the cloth.
Don't be too stingy with the remover, better too much than too little. Your (pokemon) plush doesn't have to be soaked. Good wet from that stuff on the outside is good enough.

After some polishing it looks like this:

Pay Attention!
the stain remover removes ink. And therefore also the ink from your tags!
if you are stingy with the condition of the tags, then make sure the tag doesn't get wet. Hold your hand in front of it while spraying but also pay attention while polishing.
Otherwise this happens or even completely blank:

Okay now you have to polish the (pokemon) plush as dry as possible with the other 2 cloths. 1 cloth to remove most of it. And the last one to do again for the leftovers bits. Squeeze and knead out the cleaning agent if necessary. Never wring out your plush, it will become ugly of that. Squeezing and kneading is best. The photo below is still slightly damp and that is ok.

Now the brushing work. Brush the copper or messing brush over the fabric. Up and down, and from left to right and vice versa. Working against the hairs loosens the hairs that are stuck together more quickly.

After some brushing it looks like this:

Beautiful, isn't it? Looks like new!
The cleaning agent ensures that the hairs stay like this for longer. I have noticed in the past that if you only brushed the hairs after touching the (Pokemon) plush a few times, it returns to the old state. But with the stain remover it stays like this for longer. I also think that it is a matter of invisible dirt that you loosen from the fabric with the stain remover. Finally after brushing everything it looks like this

It is wonderfully fresh and beautiful again.
The smell of the stain remover evaporates after a few days. And will eventually disappear completely. So don't worry about that.

Finally

I hope this blog post has helped those who wondered if it was even possible. And I am still very curious if this also works with the Comfy friends from pokemon center. I had a shaymin land form pokedoll that I was cleaning before I took progress photos (of Spike) and shaymin has a similar fluffy fabric on his back. And that also became nice and soft again with cleaning and brushing. If anyone tries this for their Comfy friends plush. Let me know what the result is!
Any questions and answers, if there are any. Will then be added below later.
