Shiny Pokemon Plush

Shiny pokemon plushes are made by Pokemon center and Olyfactory, and a few by Banpresto. Some unbranded pokemon plush toys are also Shiny, like this Shiny dragonair plush.
An edition of a shiny Pokemon plush is therefore often available as their normal color.
A popular shiny pokemon plush from Olyfactory is for example Shiny Umbreon and shiny sylveon. And we have a shiny pokemon plush from Pokemon center, for example; pikachu cosplay shiny Rayquaza.

Pokemon center has also released shiny pokemon plushies in the past, such as Suicune, Raikou and Entei. Unfortunately we do not have these, the biggest reason is because of their rarity. Contemporary pokemon center often produces shiny pokemon plush toys of the legendary pokemon like shiny Mega Rayquaza, and shiny Tapu koko. Shiny Tapu koko plush from the USA will come online later!

History of Shiny pokemon in-game.

Shiny pokemon first appeared in the Generation II games, Gold / silver and crystal. The Shiny version of a pokemon was determined by certain IV's combinations in the game. In the past, Shiny pokemon was indeed stronger than normal pokemon. They were not the strongest but they came pretty close. From generation III onwards it was no longer the case due changes of the IV's.

The chance of a finding shiny Pokemon

The chance of running into a shiny Pokemon was in Gen II, III IV and V, 1 on the 8192 Pokemon. And with a special method called the Masuda method you could get in Gen IV, 5 on the 8192 shiny and in Gen V 6 on the 8192.
In Gen VI this was 1 in 4096. and 6 in 4096 with the Masuda method, in other words 1 in 683. The Masuda method goes through breeding, (breeding in Gen II was the shiny chance 1 in 64! ) In Gen VII you can get 13 in the 4096 through SOS battle!

There are several methods to get a shiny pokemon. These are the Pokerader in Gen IV, which has a chance of 41 on the 8192. In Gen V you got a Shiny charm for the first time, this doubled the chance of the Shiny. In Gen VI there were many methods, besides the masuda and shiny charm there were; the friend safari 5 on the 4096 and Consecutive fishing 41 on the 4096! But also a method for Hidden pokemon.

Rarity of the Shiny pokemon

In the past, they were very rare if you see the chances above. Today people have so many and many shinys that it is not really that special anymore to have them in a game. It is always nice to have them. And people often use them to show off. Of course it is all the more fun if you do not search or breed for it, then the surprise is all the greater!
What is funny is that shiny pokemon plushies are more rare at the moment then shinys in-game
